This compact dehumidifier pulls up to 250ml of moisture out of the air a day, which makes it the right size for the places damp actually collects: a bathroom, a cellar, a wardrobe, or the closed room where you hang washing to dry. It works on a thermoelectric Peltier element rather than a compressor, so there is no rattling motor and nothing louder than a faint hum, and no chemicals or refrigerant involved. Condensed water gathers in a transparent 0.5L collector so you can see at a glance when it needs emptying, and the unit shuts off by itself the moment the tank is full or removed, so there is no risk of overflow. It needs a room above 15°C and humidity above 40% to work as intended. A mains adapter is supplied.
